New coffee van arrives in Bristol
After serving “no-nonsense great coffee” from Hampshire for nearly five months, a coffee van has now arrived in Bristol.
The Daily Grind’s coffee van is now parked in Queen Square, which will serve as the new ground for owner Chris Delin’s coffee shenanigans.
Delin, who until 2024 was bound behind a screen “grinding away in the corporate world”, decided he wanted to do something more “meaningful, creative and community-focused” after he was made redundant.

He added: “I’m originally from France and have lived in the UK for over two decades. I’ve worked across a range of sectors, but mostly found myself stuck behind a screen.
“After being made redundant from my previous job in 2024, I decided it was time for a change. That’s how The Daily Grind Coffee Van was born; the name a nod to the life I left behind.”
The van itself is solar-powered and Delin hopes to keep serving coffees, frappes and more at “fair prices” while building a loyal customer base.
The former corporate professional initially served coffee from his van in Gosport but decided to relocate to Bristol shortly after.
“We launched in Gosport, Hampshire, built a loyal customer base, and became known for our no-nonsense great coffee, friendly chats, and attention to quality.
“After building strong foundations there, we’ve now relocated to Bristol to take the next step, bringing our bright and colourful coffee van to Queen Square.
“We’re not just pouring coffee; we’re pouring joy, one cup at a time with a big focus on quality, fair pricing, and creating a welcoming space for everyone.”
