Mark’s Bread to move in ‘natural progression’ for business
After more than 15 years in their current home, Mark’s Bread will soon be moving into a new purpose-built bakery.
In a notice to customers, the Mark’s Bread team said that they should be in their new location by the spring.
They will only be moving a few hundred yards up North Street to within 5 Acre Farm Shop on the ground floor of the Tobacco Factory, which the team say will “strengthen its existing links with the thriving Tobacco Factory cafe/ bar and Sunday market”.
is needed now More than ever
Mark’s Bread say they “are excited by the prospect of baking with better equipment in a purpose made space integrated with the farm shop”.
“This move is a natural progression designed to enhance and improve customer experience, whilst continuing to provide you with your absolute favourites!”

The move is in part triggered by the planned redevelopment of the neighbouring Bristol Beer Factory.
This will see the brewery move production to the Ashton Vale Trading Estate and a new BBF taproom open in the Old Brewery development.
