Historic pub for sale
A historic pub is on the market after being closed since 2023.
The Bull Inn is registered as an asset of community value and has been a central part of the neighbourhood for centuries with a pub on this site since as early as the 1700s.
The current structure on Crews Hole Road was built in 1904 and once served as a site for inquests.
The Bull Inn is described as “a late Victorian two storey detached building, with a single storey extension to the side” which is is available as a freehold purchase with the premises currently empty.
On the first floor is a three-bedrooms flat and there is an overgrown beer garden to the rear.

Bristol City Council tried unsuccessfully to close the pub down in 2021 when its licensing sub-committee revoked the premises licence following breaches of Covid rules and complaints from neighbours about fights, disturbances and noise.
Plans to bulldoze the Bull and replace it with a block of flats were refused in May following huge local opposition.
Developers wanted to demolish the pub and build a three-storey block with nine apartments.
But government planning inspectors rejected the proposals after ruling that the loss of the Bull had not been justified and that the scheme would harm the Avon Valley Conservation Area.

The Bull Inn is currently for sale with Milton Keynes-based Caldecotte Group.
No price has been publicly revealed but a ‘restrictive covenant’ means that the vendors will ensure “its continued use as a public house or alternative commercial or community use”.
