Gurt Wings temporarily closes after break-in
Excitement was in the air on February 27 when Gurt Wings, the chicken wings restaurant best known for their food vans, opened their first permanent location in Bristol at Wapping Warf.
However, after just a few months in their new home, on Saturday morning Gurt Wings had to close for a few hours following a break-in.
On Saturday morning Gurt Wings announced on their Instagram page that their Wapping Warf restaurant had been broken into on Friday night.

They added: “We are doing everything we can to get the restaurant right & back up and running.
“We are currently closed and will update on here when we will be back open.
“Apologies for any inconvenience caused. Obviously we did not expect this to happen. Thank you for all of your support.
“We will do everything we can to be back open and slinging wings as soon as possible.”

Despite this setback, Gurt Wings were able to re-open later on Saturday afternoon.
