Free seven-week barista course taking place in Bristol
An award-winning social enterprise is launching their first training programme in Bristol for anyone who wants to become a barista.
The speciality barista course from Well Grounded is a seven-week course including two weeks of intensive coffee training and a five-week work placement.
Learners will obtain a Speciality Coffee Association barista skills accreditation, certificates in food safety and customer service, as well as ongoing employment support.
The course aims to give people everything they need to start a new career in coffee.

They have “an ambitious strategy to ensure systemic change in the hiring, recruitment and progression practices of the specialty hospitality industry, linking those facing barriers to work into careers in coffee”.
