Former restaurant team opens new cafe in community centre
A new cafe has opened within a much-loved community centre.
Ripple opened for the first time on Monday at St Werburgh’s Community Centre promising “Bristol coffee, homemade bakes and lush lunches”.
The new business is from the same team behind the former Flow restaurant; now under a pile of rubble that used to be Haymarket Walk next to the Bearpit.
Ripple is open from Monday to Friday with their menu split into breakfast and lunch items.
The opening day’s menu included slow cooked bean soft tacos (£5.50), homemade granola (£4.50) and poached eggs on toast with flaked salmon (£6.75) all served from 9am; and a seasonal salad bowl (£5.50), soup with focaccia (£7.50) and a cheese toastie (£5) available from 11.30am.
