Flat Iron to open first Bristol restaurant

By Martin Booth  Tuesday Apr 22, 2025

A restaurant that promises “great steak for everyone” is coming to Bristol.

Flat Iron unsurprisingly specialises in flat iron steak but also serves bavette, a wagyu steak of the day and a triple cheese truffle burger, with extras including beef dripping chips and crispy bone marrow garlic mash.

Some of the meat at the restaurant comes from their own herd of cattle based near Thirsk in North Yorkshire.
