Fish and chips ‘with a twist’ at new restaurant

When it opens in October, Fisk & Frite promises to serve fish and chips “with a twist”.

The new restaurant on Mina Road in St Werburgh’s can now be spotted thanks to a giant octopus which has been painted on the front of the building by Aspire.

Fisk & Frite’s menu will include “a range of high quality, sustainable fish and a unique selection of sides”.

78 Mina Road overlooking Mina Road Park was formerly a barbers and before that a bike shop.

Its new incarnation as a fish bar hopes to open by the end of October, with a new terrace built onto the pavement for dining al fresco in BS2.
