Colombian Company opens second cafe in Bristol

By Martin Booth  Friday Feb 17, 2023

The hessian coffee sacks and metal tins painted in the yellow, blue and red of the Colombian flag will be familiar to anyone who has visited the Colombian Company cafe on Whiteladies Road.

They have now opened a new cafe in the centre with similar features but in an even cosier space.

The Colombian Company has opened on St Augustine’s Parade in what was most recently Dom’s Coffee House and what was before that Red recruitment agency.

There are already two Colombian Company cafes in Bath from a business founded by Jhampoll Gutierrez Gomez, in 2016 which sources and roasts its own coffee from the south American country.

A meal deal including any toastie, a packet of crisps and a hot drink costs £8.50 in this new cafe, with a variety of pastries and cakes on the counter.
