Bristol names in drinks industry awards

Familiar names from Bristol’s food and drinks scene make up the shortlist of Imbibe’s Personality of the Year Awards.

The prestigious awards “recognise those that have, through their talent, drive and passion, been an inspiration to others and set new highs for the industry at large”. The winners will be revealed at a ceremony next month.

Here are the shortlisted men and women from Bristol, the city with the most award nominations outside London:

Restaurant Personality of The Year

Bar Personality of The Year
Elliot Ball, Olly Brading and Andy Mil – The Cocktail Trading Co.
Richard Tring – Red Light

Pub Personality of The Year
Josh and Holly Eggleton – The Pony & Trap

Dee Davies – Red Light

One of the judges in the restaurant category is Jack Adair-Bevan from The Ethicurean in Wrington, a nominee in the Imbibe awards last year who has also been announced as a judge in the BBC Food & Farming Awards, which returns to Bristol for the third year running in April.
