By Karen Johnson  Thursday Oct 16, 2025

A Bristol-based bubble and fruit tea shop now has a third site in the city.

Jo’s Tea opened near The Arches on Cheltenham Road on Thursday morning, with a small queue forming even before doors opened.

Serving bubble tea, milk tea, fruit tea, coffee and more, the business opened its third site in what was formerly an acupuncture clinic.

Jo’s Tea’s third site is now open on Cheltenham Road

Jo’s Tea promises “handcrafted tea, made with love”, with everything freshly prepared on-site in front of their customers.

On the opening day, the business was handing out free reusable boba cups to its first 50 customers and an additional buy one get one free offer through the day on their tasting menu.

The family-run business was founded in 2018, when it opened its first site on Park Row.

Four years later, Jo’s Tea opened its second site on Queen’s Road, which is now followed by its newest site on Cheltenham Road.
