Brewery launches limited-edition beer to honour world-renowned photographer
Lost and Grounded Brewery will be selling limited-edition The Last Resort Beers on Friday and Saturday in collaboration with the Martin Parr Foundation’s The Last Resort exhibition launch.
The exhibition will be held at the Martin Parr Foundation in Arnos Vale and will run from Friday to May 24.
The world-renowned photographer died in December 2025 at the age of 73, after living with cancer for several years.
The Martin Parr Foundation and Lost and Grounded have worked together over the last eight years since the Foundation opened, including a collaboration to make a trio of beers for the Martin Parr Only Human exhibition in 2019.
The Last Resort is a collection of 1980s seaside snaps that, at the time, sparked controversy for being voyeuristic and was initially perceived as satire.

Shot around the decaying seaside town of New Brighton, it was a pioneering body of work and established Parr as one of Britain’s most influential photographers.
In a statement posted on Instagram, The Martin Parr foundation said that: “Martin would have loved to have seen his images on these Lost and Grounded cans and we’re excited to have this limited-edition set to honour Martin and help celebrate his remarkable career in photography.”

Across the weekend, the foundation will host a series of talks and curator tours to commemorate Parr’s legacy and the exhibition.
