Big queues for opening of new soufflé pancake and dessert cafe

By Martin Booth  Sunday Mar 24, 2024

Dozens of people joined the queue for a new cafe which was giving away free food and drink.

The queue on Saturday stretched from Fluffy Fluffy at the bottom of Park Street, past Banksy’s Well Hung Lover mural and around the corner onto Unity Street.

Fluffy Fluffy in the former Fifty Fifty – now on Colston Street – is a soufflé pancake and dessert cafe which already has five locations across the UK and four in the USA.

Fluffy Fluffy’s website says: “Celebrating the cultural diversity of Canada, our products carefully infuse both elements of the East and the West for a tasty, artisanal treat.

“From breakfast to dinner, and everything in between – we aim to deliver happiness, one pancake at a time.”
