Award winning brewer marks M&S milestone
An award-winning brewer is set to bring its flagship pale ale to the shelves of Marks & Spencer, marking a major milestone in brand exposure.
Wiper and True will roll out its flagship pale ale, 4.2% Kaleidoscope into some 239 stores in the south, including several outlets in Bristol.
Kaleidoscope, a pale ale, is the brewery’s most popular beer, known for its distinct bright citrus and tropical fruit flavours and smooth finish.
Wiper and True, co-founded by Michael Wiper back in 2012 as a “nomadic brewing project” has won several top accolades including the Brewers Choice Awards in 2024.

“Kaleidoscope is a beer we’ve spent over a decade refining, and it’s a perfect introduction for M&S shoppers to the Wiper and True range,” said Michael Wiper, co-founder at Wiper and True – photo: Adam Gasson / Wiper and True
Michael Wiper, co-founder at Wiper and True, said: “We’re really proud to be launching into M&S – this is a retailer known for its high standards in quality and sourcing.
“Kaleidoscope is a beer we’ve spent over a decade refining, and it’s a perfect introduction for M&S shoppers to the Wiper and True range. We’re particularly excited to be starting this partnership close to home, in a region that has always supported us.”

The rollout aligns with Wiper and True’s wider summer promotion, Drink In Full Colour, which champions Kaleidoscope. The campaign covers out-of-home advertising, pop-up events, and sampling across Bristol, encouraging locals to rediscover its flagship ale.
After dropping their flag at St Werburgh’s, Wiper and True opened the state-of-the-art brewery and taproom in Old Market in 2022, with a greater emphasis on sustainability and environmental responsibility.
The original taproom at St Werburgh’s, Barrel Store, is still going strong and has become a popular community hub over the years.
