Ahh Toots launch online shop before opening of new cafe and bakery

By Martin Booth  Wednesday May 20, 2020

The opening of their new cafe and bakery at the foot of Christmas Steps may have had to be put on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic.

But the team at Ahh Toots have still been hard at work on their second home as well as launching a new website through which customers can order cakes for collection or delivery.

Quarantine getting you down? Try an Ahh Toots ‘isolation cake’ with a choice of seven different flavours from banana salted caramel to vegan chocolate.

EatDrink24/7 Launch Party is back on July 8 2026!
Exclusive collabs from Bristol’s favourite food vendors, available for one night only. Be first to grab your free copy of the EatDrink24/7 guide – plus every ticket comes with a free limited-edition beer can.

Celebrating the end of another week working from home? Try a celebration cake, a mini block butter cream iced 4″ cake that feeds one to two people.

Can’t just choose one cake? Get a dozen cupcakes, like all of the items in the online store now made at their new bakery in what used to be one of England’s oldest fish and chip shops.

Once the market reopens, Ahh Toots will still be based in St Nick’s as well as this 13th-century building on Christmas Steps, where Tam, Amy and the team making and selling some of the best and definitely the most beautiful cakes in Bristol.

‘Toots Two’ will be Ahh Toots’ new cake baking headquarters along with a cafe space serving coffees, lunches, afternoon tea and the occasional fish supper with a twist.
