The Coffee House Project to return in September 2019

By Bristol24/7  Wednesday Apr 24, 2019

Following a successful debut event last year, Bristol’s first coffee festival is returning bigger and better in 2019.

The Coffee House Project promises once again to be a “caffeine-fuelled celebration of the best the city has to offer”, with the two-day event focusing on local roasters, independent food and drink retailers, and homegrown baristas.

Taking place at the Passenger Shed next to Temple Meads on September 7 and 8, this year’s festival – thanks to the support of KeepCup – will also be disposable cup-free.

EatDrink24/7 Launch Party is back on July 8 2026!
Exclusive collabs from Bristol’s favourite food vendors, available for one night only. Be first to grab your free copy of the EatDrink24/7 guide – plus every ticket comes with a free limited-edition beer can.

Over the weekend, there will be some 50 exhibitors, workshops, talks, and a new baristas vs bartenders competition – the brainchild of Matt Beynon  of Wogan Coffee and Danny Walker of Psychopomp.

2019 will also see the UK chapter of the Speciality Coffee Association bringing both the South West heats of the UK Barista Championships and the UK Cup Tasters Championships.

Coffee House Project founders Louisa Parry and Sofia Simou said: “We were blown away by last year’s festival and the support from our sponsors, partners and exhibitors was exceptional.

“Seeing our visitors get inspired by all that the festival offers, whether it was listening to inspiring talks, getting hands on in a workshop or tasting the day away, was a highlight to watch and it created a new experience for friends and family to enjoy together, which is something we want to grow in 2019.”

Tickets for the festival are now on sale from www.thecoffeehouseproject.co.uk
