Illustrating a Bristol Balloon Fiesta mass ascent

Niki Groom took her sketchbook to Ashton Court on Thursday morning to capture the first mass ascent of this year’s Bristol Balloon Fiesta.

Niki, also known as Miss Magpie Spy, is an artist and illustrator who every month produces Overheard, a piece of reportage illustration for Bristol24/7.
