24-hour Flash Sale at top Bristol arts venues
Many of Bristol’s best-loved cultural institutions are joining forces once again to kick off the busiest season of the year. After the success of January’s city-wide ‘flash sale’, from 10am on Friday September 4 for just 24 hours, the city’s major arts venues are slashing ticket prices for just 24 hours. Colston Hall, Bristol Old Vic, St Georges Bristol and Tobacco Factory Theatres are joined in the ‘flash sale’ by Arnolfini, Watershed, M Shed, RWA, Circomedia and Circus City, Bristol’s biennial circus festival.

Events subject to the sale include Asian Dub Foundation’s live score of George Lucas’ early film THX 1138 at Colston Hall (pictured top) and Tim Crouch’s mould-breaking play An Oak Tree (pictured above), which gets a reprise at Bristol old Vic this month.
Each show will be in the sale for just one day and tickets will be strictly limited. All prices will return to normal at 10am on Saturday September 5.
