Exposure launches new D&B and jungle label

By Meena Alexander  Thursday Sep 24, 2015

New record label A R Audio is gearing up to take on the ever-expanding Bristol music scene next month, representing artists from across the drum and bass and jungle genres. Headed up by Bristol-raised DJ and producer Exposure, the label’s launch party will take place on Saturday, October 3, boasting a line up of esteemed local artists and up-and-coming producers alike.

Presented by entertainment aficionados Bristol AfterDark and double teaming with Tremor Soundsystem’s fourth birthday bash, the launch will kick off a hectic schedule for A R Audio, with two big releases planned before the end of the year and several national and international tours in the works.

As well as being a platform for label boss Exposure, A R Audio will also become a musical home to the likes of Break, Phaction, MC Ruthless and Bridgwater College alumni Despicable Youth.

“This is such an exciting time to be launching A R Audio,” says Exposure. “Bristol has long been at the forefront of the global music scene and I’m absolutely buzzing about becoming an even bigger part of it.”

“I’m really excited about the line up for our launch. We’ve got Bad Company UK, Artificial Intelligence, Mob Tactics and MC GQ plus residents – it’s going to go off! I can’t wait to show Bristol who we are and what we’re about.”
