Seven more Hot Tub Cinema shows added
Shortly after we revealed last month that Hot Tub Cinema was returning to Paintworks on its – groan – Tub Tropicana Tour, four of the five dates sold out. The good news for those who fancy sploshing about in a state of mild inebriation (there’s a licensed bar) while a film plays in the background is that a further seven shows have been added to keep up with demand.
The 12 dates now run from Thursday May 28 to Monday June 8. This is how it works. You can either book one of the 20 tubs for six of your closest bathing buddies, or muck in with a bunch of strangers. No singles, though, to discourage those with, ahem, the wrong idea. Here’s the full line-up:
May 28: Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery
May 29: The Lion King (sold out)
May 30: Ghostbusters (sold out)
May 31: Grease
June 1: Top Gun (sold out)
June 2: Dirty Dancing (sold out)
June 3: Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy
June 4: Fan Choice (vote for your favourite on Facebook or Twitter)
June 5: The Rocky Horror Picture Show (sold out)
June 6: The Hangover (sold out)
June 7: Mean Girls
June 8: Labyrinth
