First full Shaun the Sheep trailer launched

While the entire internet was distracted by the first preview of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Aardman took the opportunity to sneak out the full trailer for the Shaun the Sheep movie.

This fills in a bit more of the plot of Shaun and chums’ great adventure in the big city and repeats the amusing pussy cat Silence of the Lambs gag seen in the teaser trailer.

Distributors StudioCanal have also just announced that Paddington enjoyed the highest-grossing UK opening weekend of any of their releases to date, taking more than £5m and comfortably topping the chart. Since Shaun is the next release in what they describe as their commitment to “further Production/Distribution in the family space”, the little woolly fella has quite a target to beat. No pressure, then. Shaun the Sheep opens nationwide on February 6, 2015
