Event Cinema for October 2014
A few weeks ago, hoofing miner’s son Billy Elliot broke a cinema record. The live broadcast of this West End musical topped the UK box office chart, becoming the first ‘Event Cinema’ release ever to do so. Yep, that’s right – more people wanted to see Billy gadding about on stage than any of that week’s big film releases. Event Cinema is taking off where 3D failed, and virtually all Bristol cinemas now carry these screenings. Here’s a brief run-down of what you can see this month. Check the what’s on listings for more details, trailers and lists of participating cinemas.
