Bristol’s Showcase cinema slashes ticket prices
Following the abrupt closure of the Showcase Cinema De Lux in Cabot Circus, the chain has announced a big cut in prices at its Avonmeads site, with tickets for ‘classic’ screens now pegged at £6.99 – all day, every day – as the battle for bums on seats heats up.
It’ll cost more for seats in the cinema’s seven ‘de Lux’ screens, which have now been refurbished with luxury recliner seating, “providing the ultimate in cinema comfort”.
Crispin Lilly, Managing Director at Showcase Cinemas UK, said: “We’re delighted to bring our fantastic recliner seating to Bristol – it seems fitting that Bristol’s first multiplex at Avonmeads should be the first to offer reclining seating to the city.”
