Bristol Pride launches new film festival
Queer Vision is Bristol Pride‘s new LGBT film festival, which kicks off at the Watershed on Saturday April 25. The opening screening is Iris Select – an hour-long compilation of shorts from Cardiff’s Iris Prize LGBT film festival – which Pride promises will be a blend of the funny, touching, shocking and insightful. The 2.30pm screening is followed by a celebratory party with a movie quiz and live music. There’s also a chance to sample the specially created Queer Vision cocktail.
The following day brings two further themed programmes of Iris shorts: When I Saw Her and The Love of Men. Keep an eye on the B24/7 film listings for details of future Queer Vision screenings.
