Sam Nicoresti brings her Edinburgh Comedy Award-winning show to the south west

By Sarski Anderson  Monday Feb 9, 2026

Winning the 2025 Edinburgh Comedy Award with the acclaimed Baby Doomer – which has since enjoyed a three-week sellout run at London’s Soho Theatre – Sam Nicoresti is a star very much in the ascendant.

She made her Fringe debut with Cancel Anti Wokeflake Snow Culture in 2022, which formed the basis of her art-comedy special Wokeflake in 2024, now released in full on YouTube.

Writing for the comedy website Chortle, it was described by journalist Tim Harding as “one of the definitive documents of the trans experience in standup”.

EatDrink24/7 Launch Party is back on July 8 2026!
Exclusive collabs from Bristol’s favourite food vendors, available for one night only. Be first to grab your free copy of the EatDrink24/7 guide – plus every ticket comes with a free limited-edition beer can.

Baby Doomer, too, is a distillation of Nicoresti’s unfolding journey as a trans woman.

It’s a joke-heavy show that centres around her pursuit for the perfect skirt suit, wondering all the while if such a quest can ever, truly be accomplished.

On tour around the UK throughout February and March, Nicoresti will return to the Soho Theatre for five final dates before taking the show to the other side of the world, for the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.
