Jayde Adams and Friends: monthly nights of new comedy at The Gaffe
The packed autumn calendar at central Bristol comedy club The Gaffe already includes a sold-out work-in-progress night from James Acaster, a charity fundraiser for Age UK, the Bristol heat of British Comedian of the Year competition, and evenings featuring acts including Adam Rowe, Kyla Cobbler, Tony Law and many more.
The venue will also be playing host to comedian, actress, writer and unofficial queen of Bristol Jayde Adams, who will be heading up a monthly night of brand-new comedy from September through to the end of the year.
The news comes after Adams chose The Gaffe to road-test her work-in-progress material in the early summer of 2025.
is needed now More than ever
Away from standup, Adams is a featured cast member in Bristol Old Vic’s Christmas show for 2025, which is Treasure Island.
Though she has appeared at the theatre many times doing comedy, this festive production will be her professional stage acting debut, playing Ben Gunn/Jim’s mother.
