Nick Walker’s ‘Young Vandal’ found in Bolton
A door painted by acclaimed Bristol street artist Nick Walker that was stolen from its home on Anchor Road in Hotwells has turned up in Lancashire.
Writing on Instagram, Walker said: “Breaking news from the owner of the building. Thief took it up north to sell. Couldn’t work out how to sell it. Gave up. Went to local police station in Bolton and explained that he had stolen it in Bristol, was sorry, and wanted to apologise. Police arrested him and phoned us. Door now in Bolton police station awaiting collection. You couldn’t make it up eh??”
The Young Vandal piece was stolen sometime last week.
