Creative lockdown: Mercedes Polo Portillo
Mercedes Polo Portillo is part of the ongoing Bristol24/7 Creative Lockdown series, showcasing how people in Bristol have been getting arty under lockdown.
A portrait and interior design photographer from Montpelier is documenting life in lockdown through self -portraiture.
Mercedes Polo Portillo began a quarantine photo diary when lockdown was announced, and the project tells the story of her life under the Government restrictions.
“I thought spending quarantine might be hard,” Mercedes says. “So, I tried to be creative and keep positive by taking a photo every day.”
The photographer will be continuing the series under lockdown is lifted.
