Thom Whitchurch has had the black and white statue of a bear from the Bearpit etched onto his left forearm.

Thom – founder of food and drink events guide Foozie who has also presented on Made In Bristol TV – has been inspired by Bristol all his life and chose to make this known on his own body.

He said: “I love how quirky the city is: from Stokes Croft to Clifton Village, it can completely change in just a short walk, but retains its charm wherever you go.”

The 12ft bear statue was designed and built by artist Jamie Gillman.
