19 photos of a royal visit to Bristol in 1908

By Bristol24/7  Monday Apr 25, 2016

Celebrations have taken place across Bristol to mark the 90th birthday of the Queen. But they are pale in comparison to the visit to the city on July 9 1908 of King Edward VII for the opening of the Royal Edward Dock in Avonmouth.

The following photos of Bristol celebrating a royal visit are from the wonderful archives of Bristol Record Office.
