Bouncing off the walls

By Meena Alexander  Thursday Sep 24, 2015

Act your shoe size – not your age – at the world’s largest trampoline park, set to open on Britannia Road near Cribbs Causeway this weekend.

AirHop, a huge indoor arena filled with 177 wall-to-wall trampolines, foam pits and obstacle courses, will open its doors to the public this Saturday, welcoming jumpers of all ages to bounce, dive and play the day away.

The park will cover 60,000 square feet, boasting dodgeball courts, slack lines, battle beams and a Total Wipeout Zone as well as a huge expanse of horizontal and vertical trampolines.

EatDrink24/7 Launch Party is back on July 8 2026!
Exclusive collabs from Bristol’s favourite food vendors, available for one night only. Be first to grab your free copy of the EatDrink24/7 guide – plus every ticket comes with a free limited-edition beer can.

First made popular in America a few years back, the bouncing craze recently crossed the pond, praised not only for its smile-inducing qualities but also for its health benefits – trampolining can burn up to 1,000 calories an hour, with a reduced impact on the joints compared to other forms of cardio.

Saturday’s launch will be open to novice jumpers and parkour experts alike, welcoming families and thrill seekers for a carnival-themed party with food and entertainment throughout the day.

A live booking system is now in place online, allowing you to book into one hour slots from £10 per bouncer or hire out individual rooms for parties and corporate events.
