Online legal services portal debuts

By Laura Collacott  Monday Nov 21, 2016

An online legal support website has launched in Bristol to provide budget-conscious start-ups, professionals, micros and SMEs on-demand legal advice. CloudLegal Support intends to provide “effective and affordable” legal services to small business owners by providing a selection of simple, user-friendly documents that can be bought online, downloaded tailored to individual needs.

The templates cover business issues such as employment and HR, intellectual property, funding, investment, collaboration and marketing.

The portal is the brainchild of lawyer South West Yvonne Morris, who has built her career providing a range of legal services to businesses including commercial contracts, data protection, e-commerce law, advertising & marketing law, applications and Intellectual property.

“For small business owners and start ups, it can be incredibly daunting to understand what the law requires them to do, let alone ensuring that they have the right policies and documents in place to help them meet their legal responsibilities,” says Yvonne.

“I became increasingly aware that there simply wasn’t anything out there that offered businesses access to cost-effective, legal documents and support that not only gave them what they needed in the early stages but also as their business developed. The aim is to provide high quality, low cost user-friendly, solicitor maintained and approved, legal template documents starting at £5, covering a wealth of business-related needs. This is backed up with wider services that include the ability to access further legal support from one of our legal partners and a document checkup service where businesses that have purchased, downloaded and tailored their document can have it checked for additional peace of mind.”
