‘Bristol Legends is an opportunity to showcase positivity in one special night’
The founder and director of a PR consultancy firm is encouraging businesses from across Bristol to come to the Bristol Legends awards ceremony and after-party at Ashton Gate Stadium on March 6.
Catherine Frankpitt of Strike Communications is a panellist for the Business category of the Bristol Legends awards.
“Bristol Legends is a real opportunity to come and celebrate all of the heroes and stars of the city and beyond,” said Frankpitt, who is also on the board of Bristol24/7.
“The people, the organisations, the communities who are doing things that don’t necessarily always get a light shone on them.
“And at a time when we need more than ever to look around and see the positive things that are going on, this is a real opportunity to showcase that in one really special night.”
Tickets for that really special night cost £2,000 for a table of ten or £200 for a single ticket.
Alongside the opportunity to rub shoulders with the great and good of Bristol, attendees will enjoy a three-course dinner from Josh Eggleton and other top local chefs; an awards show recognising the best of Bristol hosted by Jayde Adams; and performances throughout the evening from the Invisible Circus.
You will also get the warm fuzzy feeling of knowing you have supported independent journalism, social impact projects changing lives across our city and the amazing work Anti Banquet do tackling food insecurity in Bristol.

Frankpitt said: “We all know that Bristol24/7 knows how to put on a good party and a great event and this is probably their most ambitious one to date.
“It’s got so many elements to it celebrating Bristol’s best.
“It’s got brilliant people like Josh Eggleton and his team doing the cooking, entertainers and performers and artists, and it’s all being done at Ashton Gate which is a brilliant venue for it.
“So it’s going to be a really special night. Maybe a highlight in Bristol’s calendar for the year…
“For people who aren’t sure whether they are going to come along or not, I’d say get yourself a ticket.
“Bring your friends along. Bring your family along. Bring your work colleagues along.
“We all need to get behind and support it and make it a really special night that celebrates the best of Bristol.
“And it’s all in a good cause as well. It’s a fundraiser at the end of the day as well as a celebration.”
