Bristol-founded period care brand breaks new grounds with Boots

By Milan Perera  Wednesday Jun 11, 2025

A Bristol-founded period care brand has taken a significant stride in its business operations with a nationwide rollout at selected Boots stores.

Grace & Green, established in 2019 by Fran Lucraft, will now have a broader platform to introduce its sustainability-conscious sanitary products, which have been rolled out at 150 Boots stores across the UK. In Bristol area, Grace & Green products are available at Boot stores in Avonmeads, Emersons Green and Cribbs Causeway.

The Redland-based company earned B Corp status back in 2023 and has since been involved in several high-profile collaborations with both corporate partners and charitable organisations.

Founder Fran Lucraft welcomed the partnership with Boots. She said: “We are absolutely delighted to be launching Grace & Green into 150 Boots stores across the UK.

“This is a real milestone for us in our mission to transform period care. This partnership goes beyond shelf space — it’s about making healthy, sustainable, and high-performing products accessible to more people than ever before.”

Recently, Grace & Green joined forces with national domestic abuse charity Women’s Aid to help combat period poverty. The collaboration highlighted stark findings that nearly 80 per cent of domestic violence survivors cannot afford period products.

Lucraft, who has a strong background in water and sanitation through her work with the International Water Association, was keenly aware of the environmental impact of disposable period products when she founded the company.

Lucraft added: “At Grace & Green, we believe everyone deserves safe, healthy choices that support individual well-being, health, and the future of our planet — and this exciting opportunity with Boots brings us one step closer to that vision.”
