By Charlie Watts  Tuesday May 30, 2023

An award-winning creative agency has expanded into Bristol and appointed six new employees following a period of significant growth.

Blue Kangaroo Design, which works with brands across the globe, including Universal Studios, Mattel, Disney, Warner Brothers, Marvel, Amazon and Ravensburger, has opened a new office at Temple Studios.

The “biggest” toy entertainment, lifestyle and licensing creative agency in the UK, Blue Kangaroo has recently expanded its services to include videography.

Founder and owner Jason Knight said: “Business is great so it was an easy decision to open a new office in Bristol, take on more talented, skilled creatives and expand both our capacity and operations.

“I’m really proud to be opening our new studio in Bristol – such a bustling city which rivals London and Manchester for its vibrant and existing creative scene.

“Our Bristol team Together are really excited to be opening a new chapter for Blue Kangaroo Design in the heart of the South West, and it’s fantastic to be contributing to the creative industries sector in this thriving, vibrant city.”

Founded in 2006 with just two employees, Blue Kangaroo now has 20 – and it regularly has over 130 projects on the go for its 17 globally-known clients.

Its Bristol office is run by Blue Kangaroo’s head of design, Paul Richards, who lives in Bristol, and four other members of staff: Ellie Bacon, Anina Yates, Rachel Chapman, and Ben Chick.
