Free career fair to support pathways into green jobs
A free public event offering practical career guidance, training opportunities, and pathways into employment in the healthcare and green sectors will take place in St Pauls, open to individuals from across Bristol.
The Green and Healthy Futures Fair, organised by UWE Bristol’s Inspire Sustainability team, will be held on Monday May 19 from 1pm to 8pm at the St Paul’s Learning Centre.
Delivered in partnership with Bridging Histories, the event will bring together a wide range of local employers, education providers, and support services, offering attendees access to information and resources focused on sustainable and healthcare-related careers.
The fair is open to people of all ages and backgrounds, including school leavers, those seeking a career change, individuals re-entering the workforce, and anyone interested in training or upskilling.

Attendees will also be able to engage with representatives from UWE Bristol’s Degree Apprenticeship programme and the School of Health and Social Wellbeing.
To support professional development, the event will feature a series of scheduled, bookable sessions throughout the afternoon and evening. These include one-to-one career mentoring appointments running from 3pm to 4.35pm, a professional LinkedIn headshot photography service from 5pm to 7pm, an interview skills workshop from 5:15pm to 5:45pm, and a CV writing session delivered by Babbasa from 6pm to 6.40pm.
