It’s 1997. While the rest of the village is in a frenzy and the country is gripped by New Labour/Princess Diana/Teletubbies fever, our unlikely hero is spending her summer trapped behind the counter in Keith’s Country Stores.
As she retreats into her imagination, creativity and the absurd collide in a tiny corner of a pre-mobile-phone-world.
