Bishop Nehru is the stage name of an American rapper and producer originating from Rockland County, NY. The unique stage name is a combination of a character played by Tupac from the movie Juice where the Bishop is the one who inspires him to go out and get the respect of his fellows. His last name, Nehru, comes from the ex-prime minister of India, Jawarharlal Nehru, who worked in collaboration with Gandhi. He released his first debut mix tape when he was just 15, it was titled Nehruvia and included 13 songs.
