In a summer bloated, as usual, with superheroes and sequels, this is being billed as a rare original action-comedy. But ‘original’, even in this context, is a bit of a push given that, as the title implies, it’s yet another spy comedy.
Mila Kunis and Kate McKinnon play a pair of thirtysomething chums whose lives are thrown into turmoil when the former’s ex shows up tailed by a bunch of assassins, having failed to mention that he’s a spy.
