First-time director and former Google commercials creator Aneesh Chaganty‘s suspense yarn follows fortysomething dad John Cho as he breaks into his daughter’s laptop in a desperate race to find her after she goes missing, uncovering all kinds of clues along the way. Yep, it’s rather like watching someone surf the internet for 90 minutes, but behind the gimmick is an intriguing story, well told. It’ll probably look horribly dated in six months’ time, mind.
