Having escaped what they describe as a “crazy UFO death cult”, brothers Justin and Aaron (co-directors Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead) find life in the outside world something of a struggle. So they jump at the opportunity when they’re invited to return to the new agey Camp Arcadia commune for an event billed as “The Ascension”.

Bad idea. Weird shit soon begins to happen in this imaginative micro-budget sci-fi from the directors of acclaimed indie horror Spring, which is billed as a blend of David Lynch’s Lost Highway and Martha Marcy May Marlene.
