Endless

Director
Scott Speer
Certificate
12A
Running Time
96 mins

Glossy Californian teens Riley (Alexandra Shipp) and Chris (Nicholas Hamilton) are madly in love. But then, oh dear, Chris croaks in a car crash. Riley is consumed by guilt because she was behind the wheel, while the post-corporeal Chris gets tutored in matters ghostly while trying to figure out how to make contact with the love of his life.

Scott Speer, who gave us one of the more forgettable terminal disease romantic weepies (Midnight Sun) raids the Ghost script for this mediocre supernatural teen romance. Critics have been unkind. “Even at a slim 95 minutes, Endless grinds on,” ” . . . shameless and embarrassingly vacant,” etc., etc.
