There’s no middle dogshit-encrusted path here. This canine romcom, which has been described as Marley and Me meets Love, Actually, will either have you becoming reacquainted forcefully with your lunch or slobbering uncontrollably with eager anticipation.
It’s set in LA with a large ensemble cast (Nina Dobrev, Vanessa Hudgens, Adam Pally, Eva Longoria, Rob Corddry, Tone Bell, Finn Wolfhard, etc) interconnecting through the agency of their domesticated beasts. Impressively, the film’s publicists have already exhausted every known doggy pun.
