Move over Rick Wakeman and take your bargain basement King Arthur with you; here comes blind crossover tenor Andrea Bocelli to do the big-budget ice spectacular thang.
Staged at the Arena of Verona, the show is billed as “an audio-visual extravaganza of pyrotechnics and state of the art, 3D projection mapping directly onto the ice.” Expect a blend of popular opera and pop music, plus world-class skaters including Evgeni Plushenko, Stéphane Lambiel and Shizuka Arakawa. There’s fashion too with costume design by Italian ‘fashion influencer’ The Blonde Salad by Chiara Ferragni.
