Unhappily married (to Dominic Cooper), middle class stay-at-home mum Gemma Arterton appears to have it all but she hates her life. Eventually, she scarpers, leaving hubby and kids behind.
Dominic Savage‘s marital bust-up drama has certianly succeeded in dividing the critics, though most have praised Arterton’s performance. The Guardian called it “unbearably painful and sad” (four stars). The Times disagreed, considering it “profoundly snobbish, patronising and trivial” (one star).
