Free-spirited thirtysomething Paula (Laetitia Dosch) has just returned to Paris with no money, no home and only a stolen cat for company after the break-up of a 10 year relationship. Chaotic, chameleonesque, impulsive, occasionally maddening and devoted to living in the moment, she sets out to reinvent herself.
First-time writer/director Léonor Serraille sourrounded herself with young women in every key creative role for this accomplished, non-judgemental, generation-defining Cannes Caméra d’Or-winning drama which was described by Variety as being “a bit like Noah Baumbach’s Frances Ha, minus the laugh-out-loud one-liners.”
