Bristol Film Festival: 12 Angry Men

Director
Sidney Lumet
Certificate
U
Running Time
96 mins

A new run of Bristol Film Festival’s Vintage Screenings in Averys wine cellar kicks off with Sidney Lumet’s classic 1957 courtroom drama. Adapted from a television play and unfolding on a single claustrophobic set, it stars Henry Fonda as a lone juror who holds out for a Not Guilty verdict when the other 11 are eager to convict. Curiously, the film was a commercial flop on release.

In this themed evening, they’ll be matching wines to some of the film’s key characters and inviting punters to deliver their own verdict on these at the end of the evening. Go here for tickets.
