Bob Geldof, Alastair Campbell, Vince Cable, Nick Clegg… Yep, whatever one’s views on Brexit, it’s certainly not the most appealing of star casts. As the title suggests, this crowd-funded documentary – which is certain to be dismissed as a whinging remoanerfest by the right-wing press and more bilious members of the online community – sets out to “give a voice to the 48% of British citizens who voted to remain in the EU”.
Director David Wilkinson pootles about the country (including a stop off in Bristol) to solicit the views of those who reckon leaving is a bloody stupid idea that’s certain to end in disaster and haven’t given up on reversing what was hardly a landslide victory. He’ll be present for a Q&A after the Watershed’s 6pm screening on Tuesday 10 July.
