There’s no particular reason why you should have heard of British indie band Slow Club unless you’re attuned to their particular brand of indie. But that’s really the point of this intimate documentary, which explores the slog involved in keeping a mid-level act on the road for more than a decade. As the cameras roll, the bickering band are reaching the end of said road with no sign of the great unwashed responding to all that critical acclaim. It’s “a film that finds a lingering elegance in the tedium of tour life,” reckons The Guardian.

Note that this is an Ourscreen screening, followed by a Q&A with director Piers Dennis. Go here for tickets.
