Raja Gosnell sure is Hollywood’s go-to guy for talking dog movies. After Scooby-Doo, Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed and Beverly Hills Chihuahua, he returns to loquacious mutts for this family comedy about Max (voiced by rapper Ludacris), a macho Rottie who’s sent on an undercover mission among the primped pooches of the dog show world.
The other hounds are voiced by the likes of Alan Cumming and Stanley Tucci, while Will Arnett pulls thankless human companion duties.
